This is
the location that Laura and Almanzo Used
Laura, Almanzo and Rose travelled to Mansfield, Missouri with the Cooley family from De Smet, South Dakota in 1894. They bought land that had an old one room cabin and dozens of apple trees heeled in by the previous owner, but never planted.

Rocky Ridge Farmhouse in Mansfield, MO
Slowly, Laura and Manly cleared the land, planted the apple trees and developed the farm they had been longing for since their marriage in 1885.
