Downtown De Smet around 1910 - Loftus Store is third building down The De Smet, SD site is the most comprenshive of all here on dakotagirl.com. A great deal of history with the Ingalls and Wilder family members occurred in De Smet, SD. Members of both families resided and homesteaded here.
